Welcome to My Lobster Life. My goal after retiring in May of this year in my early 50s was to disappear for a spell, take the time to design my ideal life and set goals leading to the best version of me; basically, finally decide what I want to be when I grow up. To date, I've been able to get a six pack for the first time in more than 15 years, grow a beard, do some home remodeling and serve others in ways a full-time job never quite allowed me the time to.
My vision for this blog is to share my goals and results, self-experiments and analysis of my ongoing efforts to become the best me possible in a way that others might be able to replicate or borrow from to create their own optimal selves.

A disclaimer: I am an amateur of many things, but a professional of none. Please seek a professional for specific guidance. Anything you read here is nothing more than my own efforts, thoughts and opinions. I do not know enough about your specific situation(s) to render anything more than an opinion. Furthermore, all of my efforts are based on my own genetics and life experiences, so similar results should not necessarily be expected on your own journey.
Thanks for visiting, and best of luck in your own endeavors....
